It could be a "White Christmas" in southeast Wisconsin, after all.

And a bitterly cold one, too.

With light snow beginning Sunday morning and expected to taper off in the afternoon, the National Weather Service said up to an inch of snow could accumulate in parts of southeastern Wisconsin.

Highs Sunday were expected to be in the lower 20's.

On Monday, Christmas Day, weather was predicted to be breezy with a 30% chance of snow showers in the morning and a high temperature of 18 degrees.

A big chill is expected Monday evening, as bitterly cold air moves in, with lows of around zero and the wind chill plunging from 5 to 15 below zero.
