Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma on Saturday stressed on the need of an economic revolution in the rural Jharkhand with the help of Information Technology and employment opportunities it has brought for the people in the new age.
During a state level Conference on IT and ITES Entrepreneurs organised jointly by Common Service Center (CSC) and Digital India at Project Bhawan, Ranchi the CS said, “An economic revolution has to be initiated in rural areas and society. If every rural family has to become independent then the youth have to work with full commitment and a new foundation for inculcating skill among them should be laid down.”
Verma expressed happiness to have technique of Common Service Center to achieve economic growth of village and society. “Hike in Investment opportunities has given hope to new employment opportunities and foundations for 200 companies have been laid down. Skill Development Budget is raised to 700 Crores from 150 Crores and 2500 unemployed youths of state will receive job offer letters on 12th January”, she added. CS exhorted youngsters and urged them to become job providers in place of job seekers and told that Jharkhand comprises of 80 per cent of total Tassar, 60 per cent of Lac and 40 per cent of Tamarind available in the country and honey produced in State is fully organic which can be developed into a cottage industry.
Dinesh Tyagi, CEO, CSC E-Governance India Limited told about the achievements of the organization and also told any VLE can become Managing Director with help of CSC. “CSC will allow trading in Banking, Insurance and Tele Medicine sector and 30,000 people can earn Upto hundred crores”. Tyagi said.
IT Secretary, Satendra Singh told that CSC is functioning without funding in Jharkhand and the government is working to initiate networking project at village level. Januja Raichuda, who is associated with CSC from 1989 sharing her experience told that VLE is an important pillar of country and by strengthening it we can achieve corruption free India.
