WATERBURY – Priscilla Bartolini, 92, passed away Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at her son’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, John B. Bartolini, in 1989, after 39 years of marriage.

She was born Oct. 11, 1925, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Bacca) Pelgro. She was a graduate of St. Francis Xavier School in Naugatuck and Naugatuck High School.

Priscilla is survived by two sons, Vincent and his wife, Bonnie Bartolini, of New Fairfield and David Bartolini, and his girlfriend, Darlene DeLage; grandchildren Amber Hansen, and Dana and her brother Brent Perdrizet; and great-grandchildren, Penelope and Etta Hansen, Alijcia and Sebastian Perdrizet, Rachel and Amanda Pilon, Mackenzie Baranoski and Vincent and Dante Sarlo. Mrs. Bartolini was predeceased by her brother Samuel Pelgro, and her two sisters, Ruth Tomkowicz, and Nancy Pelgro.

Priscilla’s most beloved moments were spent with her family. She loved being with her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. Priscilla worked at Two Guys department store in Waterbury for many years. Her many sacrifices and deeds were made for the benefit of her family. She always thought of her family ahead of herself. She enjoyed eating at many of Waterbury’s fine eating establishments.

Calling hours for Mrs. Bartolini are 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 496 Chase Ave., Priscilla’s funeral will start at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home, and proceed to St. Francis Xavier Church, 625 Baldwin St., Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck.
