NEW DELHI: With
BJP winning three out of five assembly bypolls, party president
Amit Shah on Sunday maintained that the good governance agenda had prevailed over anti-development politics of the opposition.
"After impressive wins in
Gujarat and
Himachal Pradesh, BJP's winning spree continues. Today, the party has won three out of five seats, one in rural Uttar Pradesh and two in Arunachal Pradesh. I thank the people of these states for supporting the BJP," Shah said after the results were declared.
He said the result in
Sikandra (UP) illustrated the support of farmers and villages for BJP.
