
Brooke Heather Liebowitz and Arthur Gordon Warden III were married Dec. 22 at the historic Hunterdon County Courthouse in Flemington, N.J. Mary H. Melfi, a Hunterdon County clerk and the former mayor of Flemington, officiated.
Mrs. Warden, 51, is a councilwoman in Flemington. She is also the project and proposal coordinator for Mathtech, a business management consulting service in Hamilton, N.J. She graduated from Hunter College.
She is the daughter of Mary Faith Dorweiler of Barrington, Ill., and the late Dr. Vernon P. Dorweiler. The bride’s mother is retired as an office manager for Bish Creative Display, a company in Lake Zurich, Ill., that makes signs and banners. The bride’s father served as a vice president for research of the Amoco Oil Company in Chicago and later as a professor at the Michigan Technological University School of Business and Economics.
Mr. Warden, 53, is the deputy general counsel for PBF Energy, a petroleum refiner and supplier of petroleum products in Parsippany, N.J. He graduated from Rutgers and received a law degree from Seton Hall University.
He is a son of Mary C. Warden and Arthur G. Warden II of Port Saint Lucie, Fla. His father retired as a construction project manager for Frank A. McBride, a construction firm in Hawthorne, N.J.
The bride’s previous marriage ended in divorce, as did the groom’s.
The couple met in 2015 through mutual friends at a Fourth of July party in Flemington.
