CARBONDALE, Colo: Timbers Resorts, one of the largest independent developers and operators of private boutique resorts and residence clubs, has appointed Eric Cucchi as General Manager of Timbers Kaua'i Ocean Club and Residences at Hōkūala.
An eight-year veteran with Timbers Resorts, Eric is currently Senior Project Manager for Hōkūala. In his new role, he will oversee the private residence club's hospitality operations.
"Eric possesses an extensive knowledge of hospitality development and luxury resort operations, which in addition to his breadth of experience with Timbers Resorts will serve him extremely well as he oversees Timbers Kaua'i," said Gary Moore, Managing Director of Hōkūala. As Timbers Kaua'i prepares to complete construction in late spring 2018, Eric's new role comes at an exciting time for the company. Over the next several months, Eric will continue in his role as Senior Project Manager for Hōkūala with the Timbers Kaua'i Development team and master association oversight, then transition to General Manager of Timbers Kaua'i Ocean Club & Residences as grand opening on June 1, 2018 approaches.

Prior to his time at the southeast Kaua'i property, he excelled in a variety of roles from Front Desk Associate to Rooms Director at The Sebastian - Vail, Director of Operations for Castello di Casole in Tuscany and leading the opening of the Mountainside Residences at Dancing Bear Aspen. Eric graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Natural Resources Recreation & Tourism, as well as a minor in International Business.
