OCFM Conference & Exhibition 2018 to focus on FM and Cleaning Industry outlook

Market research analysts at Technavio have predicted that the Middle East Facilities Management (FM) services market will grow steadily and indicate a CAGR of around ten per cent by 2020. 

Oman’s FM market has witnessed robust growth over the past few years. The ninth Five Year Development Plan, 2016-2020 will trigger the demand of FM services locally owing to the increase in infrastructure projects which will have a positive impact on the market.
With an eye on the future of Facilities Management in Oman, the 2nd Edition of the Oman Cleaning & Facilities Management Conference & Exhibition-OCFM, patronised by the Ministry of Manpower, Occupational Safety & Health & Muscat Municipality and supported by Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) will be held from February 5-7, 2018 at Sheraton Oman Hotel. The latest edition to OITE’s (Oman International Trade & Exhibitions) event portfolio launched in 2016, OCFM is Oman’s dedicated Confex for FM & Cleaning.

“The OCFM Exhibition & Conference will explore top products, technology and processes that provide cleaner environments, efficient workplaces and facility management services. A new avenue being explored this year is Smart FM Technology focusing on smart building and scope for future applications in managing building conditions,” said Ashit Barnes, exhibitions director, OITE.
