CAROL VORDERMAN marked her 58th birthday a day early yesterday when she caused a stir with her attention-grabbing gym gear.

The Countdown legend oddly headed to a spin class as she enjoyed a day of activities, all of which she did while wearing something rather unusual on her head.
The 57-year-old took to Twitter to update her 385,000 followers on her antics, while sharing snaps of her and her pals.
Carol opted for a saucy pair of leggings for her work out, posing on an exercise bike in the slashed bottoms.
Smiling directly at the camera, the mother-of-two looked far from worn out in the eye-catching trousers, which she wore with a T-shirt and a headband adorned with brussels sprouts.
