2017 is coming to an end, and with that, we saw a slew of powerhouse smartphones jump onto the world stage.

It will be much of the same in 2018 as manufacturers are prepping for hardware updates.

One device many of us are looking forward to is the OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 5T launched with an excellent spec list near the bottom-end of the flagship pricing spectrum.

Your flavor of 6GB or 8GB of RAM, expandable storage, and dash charging make this smartphone a compelling offer among smartphones to this day.

For 2018, our eyes are focused on the next generation mobile device from OnePlus.

Judging by the rumored specs, the OnePlus 6T doesn’t look like it will disappoint.

Earlier in the year we were all expecting the iPhone X to feature a fingerprint scanner beneath the display.

Due to various reasons, Apple Inc wasn’t able to deliver on the much-hyped feature.

But one company did, and that organization is Vivo.

Earlier this year at Mobile World Congress, Vivo demonstrated its ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which sat beneath the display showcasing how it can be done.

If the latest rumors are anything to go by, the OnePlus 6 may include a fingerprint sensor underneath the display for 2018, and that’s exciting news for techies.

We are also expecting a sleeker design with a larger screen and fewer bezels for a better viewing experience.

Probably not a surprise for most of you, but the chipset that will power the entire device is said to be the Snapdragon 845 with its new architecture.

Pair this with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and what we have here is the recipe for another solid flagship smartphone.

Following an article from Phandroid, they found a source which spoke to GizmoChina mentioning that the OnePlus 6 could potentially be available for sale near the end of March.

There are no reliable assertions about the display for the next gen OnePlus device. 1080p screens are perfectly fine and still deliver a high-definition experience. But they don’t wow customers as 1440’s with their high pixel density counts.

Hopefully, OnePlus can deliver their product before the Galaxy S9 in 2018. It may be rushing things a bit, as the OnePlus 5T only lauched in November of 2017.

As of now, nothing is set in stone, and we won’t know for sure until an official unveiling is done by OnePlus. With better hardware specs and new features come a higher price. We will see how high of a price customers are willing to pay to never settle.
