Tirupati-Nizamabad Exp coach derails, none hurt

SECUNDERABAD: Around 250 passengers had a narrow escape when one coach of the Tirupati-Nizamabad Express jumped the tracks on Saturday morning.

Around 8.05am, the sixth coach derailed, but there were no casualties, according to the spokesperson of South Central Railway Anil Kumar.


The cause of the derailment is not known but the railway authorities are investigating it, sources said. There was, however, a quick response from the railway staff who started restoring the track on a war footing.
