Meghan Markle's Dog Reportedly Breaks Two Legs

Meghan Markle‘s beloved rescue dog Guy is reportedly undergoing treatment right now after recently breaking two of his legs.

It is not known how the injuries happened, but the future princess is reportedly “distraught” and “very upset,” according to Mail on Sunday.

Meghan‘s pup is reportedly being treated by “super vet” Noel Fitzpatrick and her fiance Prince Harry has joined her while visiting Guy at a treatment facility in Surrey.

Guy has been living with Meghan in the UK “for a while,” she said in her engagement interview. Her other dog Bogart had to stay across the pond with one of her friends as he is too old to fly.

That’s what happened to my cat when we moved to a new place as a kid. She didn’t know the area and ended up getting run over. I’m assuming that’s what happened with her dog. The place looks like a home, but it has all of those roads and other people living there.

  • persononhere

so she dumps one dog to move there and allows this one to break 2 legs. dog owner of the year!

People can be so harsh…she didn’t dump one dog- she left it with friends- to dump a dog is to carry it somewhere and leave it…Maybe the dog is sick & the best way to prolong it’s life is to not fly it thousands of miles or subject it to invasive measures (needed to enter the UK)… The other dog…might have been accidentally hit by a car – who knows but to chastise someone for something neither you or I know the details is harsh.

  • Tonya

I hope that your cat is okay now :)

sweetheart, there are no “invasive measures” to get a dog overseas anymore, things such as quarantine have advanced to the point of being 0-3 days. the dog could have come, especially since her new bf has some pull with the government and airlines that an average guy doesn’t. if you adopt something, you adopt it for life. if you adopt a baby, you don’t get to leave it with a friend when you move, and if you take the baby with you you protect it from injury. she adopted one dog just to dump it behind and obviously didn’t care for this one. she’s obviously careless and self-absorbed and now 2 dogs have suffered b/c of her.

    A dog is not a human…it is a dog…

but I understand what you are saying…I loved all my animals (to me they were my kids)…However, when I had to relocate I had to leave them behind…

Years ago my mother accidentally killed one of my dogs…she was not careless- it was an accident- to this day she cries when she remembers

i’m sorry, but you don’t leave animals behind, and especially in her situation where we all know she could bring them along. why just bring the one? it was like she made a deliberate choice, in your case you left them all but she picked. i saw the link – my parents do quarantine b/c they live 6 months in another country. you start the quarantine process in your home country for 6 months to a year and then finish it for a few days in the new country. quarantine just means having proper shots and documents together showing no illness in the pet. she just didn’t want to take it. she could even have her friends do the quarantine for her, it comes down to basic lack of responsibility. it speaks to her character, which we’ll all see more of as time progresses. Happy Holidays! :-)

    Persononhere, I agree …Time will reveal all… because…
