Manchester United news: Paul Pogba not as good as people think - Jamie Redknapp
MANCHESTER UNITED star Paul Pogba does not have as much of an impact on the team as some people think.

That is the view of Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp.
Pogba has missed a large part of this season due to injury and a recent three-game suspension.
Statistically, Manchester United’s form dipped when he was out of the side and they now find themselves 14 points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City at the top of the table.
United legend Gary Neville claimed United are a far better side with the Frenchman in their starting XI.
He played midweek and didn’t have an affect on that game
But Redknapp pointed out Paul Pogba played in the shock Carabao Cup quarter-final loss to Bristol City last Wednesday.
Redknapp was asked by Sky Sports presenter Dave Jones: “Do we think then that United are a different prospect with Paul Pogba?”
“Look, he’s a top player, there’s no two ways about it,” he replied.
“But, he played midweek and didn’t have an affect on that game.

"So you can’t all of a sudden say that when he doesn’t play Man United (aren’t as good).
“The stats would suggest this season they’re better when he plays, he is of course a very good player.
“But last year he was heavily criticised for his performances.”
