Kovind, who will land at Madurai airport from New Delhi today, will take a helicopter and reach Mandapam. From there, he will go to Rameswaram by road and offer prayers at Lord Ramanatha Swami temple at noon.
After a brief break at the government guest house from, he will reach former president APJ Abdul Kalam's memorial at 1.25 pm and pay tributes. Again, he will reach Madurai by helicopter from where he will take flight to Chennai at 3.30 pm.
