Chris Smalling roasted on Twitter after injured Man Utd ace allows Leicester to equalise

CHRIS SMALLING has been hammered by Manchester United fans for his part in Leicester's late equaliser at the King Power Stadium.

Jose Mourinho's side were held to a 2-2 draw by Leicester tonight despite dominating for much of the match, with Harry Maguire scoring a late equaliser seconds from the final whistle.

Jamie Vardy had given the home side the lead midway through the first half before a brace from Juan Mata either side of the break looked to have sealed the points for .

However, the Red Devils were guilty of missing numerous chances and were made to pay when Maguire slide home Mark Albrighton's superb cross from the left wing.

United centre-back Smalling had been injured with several minutes of the match remaining, but the 28-year-old was forced to stay on the pitch as Mourinho had already used his three substitutions.

Smalling was initally shifted out of defence but then found himself isolated and marking Maguire at the back post when the equaliser was scored – a fact not lost on United supporters.
