Elderly loses Rs 1.6L in fraud

Pune: A senior citizen staying in Narayan Peth was duped by online fraudster — pretending to be a beautiful woman based in London — of Rs1.64 lakh.

The man (60) is a widower and stays alone. His children stay in different cities. He lodged a complaint with the Vishrambaug police on Friday, stating that he saw a woman while surfing online and both became online friends.
