Jeanette Ray Jones, 76, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, with her family beside her. Jeanette was born on Jan. 5, 1941, to the late Alton (Zeke) and Joyce Moore of Chester, Ark.
Jeanette leaves behind her sister and husband, Loretta and James Derrell Pense of Chester; a brother, Jimmy Moore of Alma; two daughters, Joyce Merrell of Van Buren and Carrie Gray of Alma; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceding her death was baby boy Cooper, her beloved son Donney Jones II and her brother Jackie Allen Moore.
Everyone that knew Jeanette loved her. She liked talking about the old days, and she loved her family, friends and her animals. Jeanette knew the Lord and leaves an empty place in our lives. She will be very much missed until we see her once again in heaven.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
