A person has been hit by a train in West Lothian leading to the closure of a major line.
ScotRail announced that the incident took place between Bathgate and Uphall at around 10am.
The person's condition in not yet known at this time.

A ScotRail spokesperson said: "Due to a person being hit by a train between Bathgate and Uphall the line is closed.
"Disruption is expected until 11:30, sorry."
The line has since reopened but disruptions are still ongoing.
Passengers are urged to check their journey before travelling.
