Congress didn’t lose, BJP didn’t win in Gujarat: Kharge

Kalaburagi: It is not possible to make the country free of Congress, said Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge here on Saturday.

Talking to reporters, he said that the Congress did not lose and BJP did not win in the Gujarat assembly elections. "We lost in 15 constituencies with only a few votes," Kharge said, blaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "wrong projection of Congress" for the party's debacle in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.

He said that party will not take the forthcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan and Karnataka lightly. He also opposed the use of Electronic Voting Machine.
