Charlie Nicholas' Premier League Team of the Season: Seven Man City stars, Man Utd shock

CHARLIE NICHOLAS has revealed his controversial Premier League Team of the Season so far, but do you agree?

Sky Sports pundit Nicholas has raised a few eyebrows with his Team of the Season selection, snubbing David De Gea and naming no less than seven Manchester City players.

With Pep Guardiola’s side 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League, it’s understandable that Nicholas has opted for plenty of stars from the blue half of Manchester.

However, it does come as a shock that the former and Celtic forward has omitted De Gea – despite admitting he is the best goalkeeper in the world.

Nicholas has also caused a bit of a stir by failing to name any strikers in his XI, instead preferring a fluid front three made up of Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and Mohamed Salah.
