PATNA: Pushkar Piyush of Class VII, Ayush Kumar of Class VIII, Asitya Mann of Class IX, Siddharth Kumar of Class X and Panitosh Kumar Roy got the J N Dar
scholarship of Rs 10,000 each at the annual meeting of the alumni of Gyan Niketan on its campus on Saturday.
Alumni association member and cardiologist Dr Vikas Singh welcomed the former students. State cooperative minister Rana Randhir Singh was overwhelmed to come to his school again.
A souvenir titled 'Serving the Mankind, Serving the Nation' was released and an alumni website — www.gyanniketanalumni.in — launched on the occasion.
The Tribhuvan School: Dance, drama and music marked The Tribhuvan School's annual celebration, 'Saga Fiesta', on Saturday.
Tiny tots presented a skit on the 'Story of Christmas' which depicted the significance of Christmas. Students of pre-primary and Class I presented a cultural programme which included Christmas carol, Christmas dance, Goan Dance and a skit on 'Sick Santa'.
School principal Mahua Das Gupta urged the parents and teachers to work together for the development of students. Junior wing coordinator Shweta Sinha and other teachers were also present.
Annual function: Students of Children's Heaven High School had a gala time at the 7th annual function of the school on Saturday.
The programme started with Shiv Vandana followed by a group dance. Tiny tots performed on 'Chanda chamke chamcham'. Class I students presented a fun dance on 'Galti se mistake'. The kids also paid tribute to Michael Jackson and performed on 'Dangerous'. School principal Arti Pandey read out the annual development report of the school.
