He also said during an inspection of the flyover work underway yesterday (21) that the government would plan road networks countrywide to solve congestion on the roads.
Deputy minister Harsha de Silva too, participated.
Ninety five per cent of the work is now over, with the Rs. 4.7 billion project being funded by a concessionary loan from the Spanish government.
The four lane flyover is 534 metres long.
