Jodhpur: Though scores of weddings played the "Ghoomar" song from the movie Padmavati, but no instance of protest was reported. However, annual function of a school came under fire on Friday night when some youths from Rajput community barged into the school and vandalised the place for playing the song.
About two dozen youths, reportedly residing in a hostel adjacent to Kabra Public School in Paota area, barged into the school, shouted slogans and went on a rampage. They took over the stage forcing the students to run for cover. They threatened the music incharge and warned the school administration too. tnn
