(MENAFN) Amazon made an apology to a client who received from a call centre worker an email he claimed to have been "coded death threats."
On BBC Radio 4's You and Yours, the customer identified as Michael Jacobson confirmed that he was sent suggestions for books that include Suicide's An Option, Death and Follow You Home.
After it presented the customer a 50 euro goodwill gesture, Amazon stated "we have zero tolerance for any misuse of customer data and have apologised to the customer, the individual involved no longer works for Amazon."
