Jose Mourinho needs Manchester United to win to keep pace with Pep Guardiola

Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez are both recalled for Leicester following the midweek Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.

Robert Huth and Matty James, however, both miss out despite being back in training this week.

Manchester United are without Atonio Valencia who was forced off early against West Brom last weekend, forcing Victor Lindelof to fill in at right-back.

Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick and Eric Bailly all remain on the sidelines for the Red Devils.

Leicester City Team: Schmeichel, Simpson, Maguire, Morgan (c), Fuchs, Iborra, Ndidi, Mahrez, Albrighton, Gray, Vardy

Subs: Hamer, Chilwell, Amartey, Dragović, King, Slimani, Okazaki

Man Utd Team: De Gea, Lindelof, Jones, Smalling, Young, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Martial, Lukaku

Subs: Romero, Rojo, Shaw, Herrera, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic, Rashford

"I think expectations now are, if the top teams perform, it is very difficult for them to have the same dream or to reach the same incredible title," Mourinho said ahead of the game.

"But I think they are doing well, in a comfortable position, no dramas, no fears.

"Can they fight to reach a Europa League spot? Yes they can,

"They are the same good team they were."
