With the dawn of a new year comes the debut of a bunch of new shows -- way too many to even keep track of, if we're being honest. But there are a few that we're already salivating over, like Jason Katims' new NBC drama Rise, HBO's upcoming thriller Sharp Objects, and the second installment in Ryan Murphy's American Crime Story franchise, The Assassination of Gianni Versace.

Not to mention that the first part of 2018 will also mark a few highly-anticipated returns from shows including The X-Files, Westworld, The Handmaid's Tale and Marvel's Jessica Jones.
