Patriots rule Alan Branch and Rex Burkhead out for Sunday

FOXBORO – The Patriots will be without Rex Burkhead and Alan Branch on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Both players were ruled out on Friday after missing all three practices this week. Burkhead suffered a knee injury in Pittsburgh last weekend. He reportedly didn’t suffer a torn ACL and is expected to be back by the playoffs. Branch will now have missed two games in a row with a knee injury. He’s also expected to be back for the playoff run.

Chris Hogan (shoulder) and Kyle Van Noy (calf) are listed as questionable after being limited this week along with Brandon Bolden (groin), Brandon King (hamstring), Eric Lee (ankle), Matthew Slater (hamstring), LaAdrian Waddle (ankle) and James White (ankle).
