The photographs of Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, were taken by Alex Lubomirski at Frogmore House, Windsor.
In one shot, the couple sit on the steps of the house, Meghan leaning in to Harry’s legs.
Meghan wears a sheer dress with beaded detail by British designers Ralph & Russo and is from their AW16/17 collection, costing a reported £56,000. The dress is described as a "black tulle gown with silk organza skirt, hand appliquéd with silk tulle ruffles and embroidered with gold feather thread-work".
The second, more intimate photo, is black and white and shows the couple close up, and Meghan wears a £690 Victoria Beckham sweater for the picture. The classic crewneck is from the SS18 Ready-to-Wear collection.

Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen to release official photographs to mark their engagement
Both are smiling broadly, and Meghan has her eyes closed as she holds Harry’s face in her hands.
The prince looks down at his wife-to-be, with his Burberry coat opened up around her shoulders.
Kensington Palace tweeted the two photographs today, and wrote: “Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have chosen to release official photographs to mark their engagement.
“The photographs were taken by @alexilubo earlier this week at Frogmore House, Windsor.”

Meghan's stunning engagement ring could be seen twinkling in both images.
Harry and Meghan will marry in Windsor in May 2018, and images from inside their venue have been revealed.
The last wedding to take place there was the union of Harry’s father, Prince Charles, 69, and Camilla Parker Bowles, 70, in 2005, where they received a blessing from The Archbishop of Canterbury.

Despite its grand appearance, the venue holds around 800 guests.
There were originally 50 stalls of the Knights and Canons, with 21 facing each other.
In the late eighteenth century, another two stalls were added, bringing the overall number to 52.
The building displays intricately carved stonework, a magnificent fan vaulted ceiling and beautiful stained glass windows.
