VADODARA: Anand police on Thursday trained guns on 20 spas in the town after a raid at one spa led it to a
sex racket being operated from there. The police has booked the operator of the spa where the racket was operating under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
The police had received information that a spa on the 100-feet road in Anand, Dolphin Spa, was giving sexual favours to persons there. The police sent a decoy to the spa. The decoy struck a deal with one of the women at the spa and soon after paying money to her, signalled to the cops who raided the place.
Three women were found at the spa and were rescued by the police. It came to light that the racket was being operated by one Indrajeet Sen, a resident of Udaipur in Rajasthan. Two of the women who were rescued were from Rajasthan while one of them was from Mahisagar district in Gujarat.
Following this raid, the police checked around 20 spas and found that the registration and other details of one of them were not in order.
