US Vice President Mike Pence has said that President Donald Trump has put Pakistan on notice for providing safe haven to the Taliban and other terror organisations in its soil.
Mr Pence was addressing around 500 American troops at the Bagram airbase in Afghanistan during his unannounced visit to the country.
He said, for too long Pakistan has provided safe haven to the Taliban and many terrorist organisations, but those days are over.
Issuing stern warning to Pakistan, the US Vice President said, it has much to gain from partnering with Washington, and much to lose by continuing to harbor criminals and terrorists.
