St Paul’s kids enact Oscar Wilde’s play

PATNA: Students enacted two plays — 'The Selfish Giant' and 'Jeevan ka Sabak' — at the annual 'Colors of Life' concert of St Paul's High School at S K Memorial Hall on Thursday.
Different dance forms, including Goan dance, Adivasi dance, Bhangra, dandiya and Nagpuri dance, were performed by the students at the function. The programme concluded with a Christmas carol by the school choir.

Chief guest Patna Archbishop Rev William D'Souza, guest of honour Sharmishta Banerjee, school director Alice Shah and principal Raymond Anand Prakash were present on the occasion.

Alumni meet: St Xavier's Alumni Association (SXAA) is set to organise the annual reunion of former students at St Xavier's High School on Saturday.

"Supreme Court judge Justice Navin Sinha, an alumnus of the school, will be the chief guest of the function. Awards like 'Distinguished Xaverians' will be also be given to the ex-students," association president Dr Sandeep Sen said at a press conference on Thursday.


'Upwan': Tiny tots of Kidzee Era performed 'Ganesha Vandana' and enacted a skit on 'Save Trees' at a function christened 'Upwan' at Premchand Rangshala on Thursday.


The kids also asked the audience to plant saplings at their homes and make the environment clean. Bihar legislative assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary. was the chief guest of the function.


School head Malvika Sureka and teachers attended the event.
