No end to logjam in sight on Friday too as BJP plans to revive the 1984 riots issue to counter Congress’ demand for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s apology for his remark against Manmohan Singh.
The government has listed the GST amendment bill for passage in the Lower House.
On Thursday, the Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day amidst uproar by Congress MPs on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks against his predecessor Manmohan Singh and the BJP’s “smear campaign” against the UPA in the 2G spectrum case.
Lok Sabha functioned smoothly in the afternoon when it passed 2nd Supplementary Demands for Grants 2017-18.

1.40pm: CPI(M) MP demands more central aid to Cyclone Ockhi-affected Kerala, says the assistance provided is insufficient. He also asks the government to declare the cyclone as national disaster.
12.30pm: Lok Sabha discusses issue of natural disasters, including Ockhi cyclone that hit Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat early this month.

11.24am: In Lok Sabha, minister of state for health, Anupriya Patel, says states always have 15% more budget to spend if there is any delay in release of funds from the Centre.
