Arsenal news: Lee Dixon reveals how he’d help Alexis Sanchez move to Man City
LEE DIXON says he would gladly drive any player who didn’t want to play for Arsenal to the airport as he rebuked Alexis Sanchez’s current situation.
Sanchez wants to leave Arsenal and join Manchester City but Express Sport understands the Premier League leaders are in no rush to sign him and prepared to wait until the summer.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has stressed his confidence that Sanchez will give his all for the shirt.
But earlier this week, the Chilean was accused of ‘clocking out’ by Ian Wright, who played with Dixon at Arsenal for several years.
When asked about those comments, Dixon was in agreement that if a player doesn’t want to be at the club, he should leave.

Dixon told BBC Radio Five Live: "Form goes up and down and maybe it’s just a coincidence that it is just this season that he’s pushing for a move.
“But I’ve got the same attitude with all player who don’t want to be at Arsenal and wear that cannon the badge and chest and that’s I'll drive you to the airport to go to their new club.”
Dixon also questioned whether senior players at Arsenal had control of the dressing room and says if there were Sanchez wasn’t showing the required commitment levels.

He added: “Way before the performances on the pitch drop, players in the dressing room know whether a player wants to be there or not because you see it on a daily basis.
“The players in the dressing room are the ones who know and they are the ones to ask because they will see Alexis Sanchez on a daily basis and know whether he is in or out.
“And that policing that goes on in the dressing room is key to whether you win championships or not.”
