HYDERABAD: OU’s alleged inability to conduct the ISC has received scathing criticism from students of the varsity. Calling it a failure on part of the government and varsity administration, the students claim that it is an attempt to brand them as vandalis. As mark of protest, ABVP activists burnt an effigy of CM K Chandrashekar Rao at Arts College, on the campus on Wednesday.

“We are not hooligans or vandals. We are protesting because the government and administration are not fulfilling our demands with regard to better facilities in hostels. We will raise our voices if we find the CM anywhere on the campus,” said Krishank M, a student. ABVP too issued a statement in which it said the postponement was “shameful” and said that ISC has been postponed because of KCR’s stubbornness.
