Ajman: Rohan Mustufa and Hafiz Kaleem scored quick-fire half centuries as One Stop Tourism (OST) defeated Multiplex by nine wickets in the final of the Royal Cricket League to emerge winners.
After restricting Multiplex to 128, OST chased down the score in just 9.4 overs with the loss of only one wicket.
Earlier, OST the toss and elected to bowl first. Multiplex batsmen did not have any answer for the discipline bowling attack of OST. Multiplex kept on losing the wickets at regural intervals and could not get the partnerships going.
They could manage to muster only 128, losing all their wickets. Muhammad Yasir was the highest scorer for Multiplex. He hit 35 off 27 balls.
Umair Ali Khan, Muhammad Azhar, and Rohan Mustufa took two wickets each.
Rohan was announced Man of the match.
One Stop Tourism tourism received cash prize Dhs.15000 and trophy from the chief guest Kamal Hussain of Ibson and Adil Mirza of OST. Multiplex received a cash prize Dhs.5000. and trophy as well.
Fayyaz Ahmed of Alubond Tigers was named Best Player of the tournament. He scored 170 runs and took seven wickets in the tourney and was given a cash prize of Dhs.400 for his outstanding performance.
Akhlaq Butt of Multiplex was named Best Batsman, receiving a cash prize of Dhs.300 while Umair Ali Khan of OST got the Best Bowler award for taking eight wickets. He received Dhs.300.
