Johannesburg - This Christmas weekend promises malls and shopping centres full of bustling customers, cramming in last minute shopping. 

Although it may be late for many - those dodging malls, queues and frantic parents fighting over the last PlayStation console at Toys“R”Us - there is an alternative. 

Scores of South African online stores are offering customers gift guides and Christmas specials. 

While not all will promise delivery by Monday, post-Christmas gifts are never a bad thing.

Foschini: Foschini Beauty has a dedicated Christmas online platform with sales on fragrances for men and women and cosmetics.
