Love drove to Skyview Plaza shopping center, just north of the Florida Mall, minutes after the alleged carjacking and barricaded himself in the vehicle.
Deputies say they found him allegedly passed out in the driver's seat. They then tactically parked their vehicles so he couldn't escape. Sky 13 showed at least 10 deputies surrounding the car, as well as SWAT units.
Just before 8 a.m., Love gave himself up to law enforcement, Tejada-Monforte said. The suspect was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center because he appeared to be intoxicated.
Orange County deputies are further investigating the carjacking.
