The BMC has already constructed 17 community toilets under the project samman out of total 26. Besides 16 hybrid toilets have been opened for public use. These hybrid toilets are useful for public as well as community. The Sulabh International has been assigned for operation and maintenance of these toilet complexes.

All the hybrid toilets are having universal access facility as these are children friendly and can also be used by persons with disabilities.  There are ramps in each toilet for better accessibility.

The pans and basins of toilets are designed in such a way that children can also use comfortably.
