Market Now: Over 100 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs
In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro, HCL Technologies, Hindalco Industries were among the top gainers.
NEW DELHI: Over 100 stocks, including APL Apollo Tubes, Arvind, Biocon, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and Jet Airways (India) hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Thursday's trade.

Manappuram Finance, Man Industries (India), United Spirits, Minda Industries, Raymond, Sadbhav Engineering, Sreeleathers, TV18 Broadcast, Vakrangee, Voltas and Wockhardt also joined the club of stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs today.

On the contrary, Bharati Defence and Infrastructure, Dwarikesh Sugar Industries, Sezal Glass, STEEL EXCHANGE INDIA and Tara Jewels were the five stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE in Thursday's trade so far.

Equity benchmarks were appearing lacklustre. The Nifty50 index was 3 points down 10,441, while Sensex was 22 points down at 33,755 around 12.30 pm (IST).

Shares of Idea Cellular, Punjab National Bank, Hindalco, Steel Authority of India (SAIL), State Bank of India and Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) were trading as the most traded stocks on NSE.

In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro, HCL Technologies, Hindalco Industries, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, Cipla were among the top gainers.

However, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank and Vedanta were among the top losers.
