‘Continue KGBV school contract employees’

Justice A. Ramalingeswar Rao of Hyderabad High Court asked Telangana and AP governments to continue to take services of contract employees in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) schools in the two states if there are no remarks against them. The scheme regularising them may be considered to be framed, the judge said. The court was disposing of cases filed by contract employees who said that they were taken into job in 2005 and till now there is no regularisation. They complained that they are sought to be removed in the name of new regulations. The judge said that future vacancies can be filled as per guidelines in 2012-2013. These contract persons can be regularised and governments may formulate a scheme. The judge reminded that these persons are taken into service much prior to guidelines framed in 2012-2013.
