The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Bhubaneswar organised its Regional Incentive Award Ceremony for 2017 here on Wednesday.
Utkal University Vice-Chancellor Prof Soumendra Mohan Patnaik, CBSE Bhubaneswar Regional Officer Manoj Kumar Srivastava graced as guests and KVS Bhubaneswar region Deputy Commissioner AVL Jagannadh Rao gave the welcomed address.
During the event, 11 meritorious teachers were honoured with the award, two teachers felicitated for receiving KVS National Incentive Award - 2017, one teacher felicitated for receiving National Award - 2016 and two teachers awarded for getting Divisional-level 'Medal of Merit Award' 2016-17 of Bharat Scout and Guide Bhubaneswar region.
Apart from this, 23 KVians of Bhubaneswar were awarded for achieving highest PI 100 per cent result in Class-X and XII in year 2016-17 and six KVians were felicitated with “Harit and Swachh Vidyalaya Awards- 2016-17”. A cultural programme was also held on the occasion. Among others,
