5:00am: Liverpool are willing to let youngster Ben Woodburn leave on loan on one condition.

The Liverpool Echo claim Jurgen Klopp is happy to let the Welshman leave as long as he is played in competitive fixtures.

Woodburn has made 10 senior apperances for the club.

4:30am: Arsenal will demand Vincent Kompany in any deal between Manchester City and Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean forward almost moved to the Etihad in summer before the transfer fell through.

But Starsport understands Arsene Wenger will look towards Kompany, should he fail to land David Luiz from Chelsea.

The Portuguese boss admitted he thought the club were a 'special project'.

And now, journalist Paco Gonzalez has told Spanish radio Cadena COPE, if Unai Emery fails to win the Champions League, Mourinho will be Paris-bound.

3:00am: Liverpool are ready to allow Danny Ings to move on loan.

A host of Premier League clubs including Newcastle, Stoke and West Ham are chasing the forward.

And the Daily Mail claim Jurgen Klopp is ready to let Ings leave.

2:15am: Daniel Sturridge should move to Tottenham.

That is according to former Arsenal star Ian Wright.

The striker is out of favour at Liverpool currently.

And Wright believes he would be a good fit for the north London side.

10:15pm: Phil Neville believes Henrikh Mkhitaryan must showcase his ‘unbelievable’ quality whenever he can to save his Manchester United career.

He said: “Mkhitaryan, Mkhitaryan has not been involved for the last eight games.

“So is it a night for him to come back in? He has unbelievable quality but I think he needs to start producing in terms of his performances.”

8:30pm: Celtic have announced the signing of centre-back Marvin Compper from RB Leipzig.

The 32-year-old German international has signed a two-and-a-half year deal and will officially join the Scottish champions on January 1.

Compper told Celtic TV: "When I first heard of Celtic's interest I was immediately very keen and eager to come."

7:15pm: Manchester United’s odds on signing Chelsea star Eden Hazard have shrunk but Real Madrid remain frontrunners.

Reports today have claimed that United are plotting a £90m swoop for the 26-year-old Belgian superstar.

And Ladbrokes have cut the odds on a deal happening in half from 9/2 from 9/1.

La Liga giants Real, who have tracked Hazard for years, are still favourites at 4/11.

6.20pm: Napoli want Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian.

The Mirror report the Serie A side are targetting the full-back as a replacement for crocked left-back Faouzi Ghoulam.

5.50pm: Arsenal and Liverpool are in talks to sign Real Madrid ace Dani Ceballos.

Ceballos only joined the club in the summer but he's not got much of a chance.

And Diario Gol say the midfielder has held secret talks over a switch to the Premier League duo in January.

5.30pm: Liverpool have proposed a swap deal for Philippe Coutinho.

Barcelona want the Brazilian star but Jurgen Klopp doesn't want to sell.

However throwing another player into the bargain could tempt him to change his mind, report Don Balon.

They say the Kop boss is keen on Sergi Roberto or Ivan Rakitic being thrown into the bargain for Coutinho.

5pm: Jose Mourinho has been warned that selling Henrikh Mkhitaryan could be like his offloading of Kevin de Bruyne and Mohamed Salah while at Chelsea.

Mourinho sold the pair and they've since become top Premier League stars.

And German football expert Rafael Honigstein thinks there could be a repeat in store.

“It might come back to haunt him, maybe not as much as Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah," he said on ESPN FC.

4.25pm: Chelsea want Thomas Lemar and Ross Barkley on board in January.

That's the claim of the London Evening Standard.

They report the duo are both on the Blues shopping list in the new year sales.

Barkley was close to joining in the summer but a deal collapsed at the last minute.

Lemar is also wanted by Liverpool.
