Police nabs accused in Divar theft

PANAJI: Noor Mohammad, a native of Karnataka, has been arrested by Old Goa police for his suspected involvement in attempting a temple theft in Divar.

On November 14, locals heard someone breaking into a temple at Divar.


They managed to nab one person, Ibrahim Madivkutti, while his partner had managed to escape. The police were on the look out for the second accused since then. Acting on a tip-off on Wednesday, police arrested Mohammad near the Karmali railway station.
