Houston police are asking the public's help in identifying a man believed to be behind a spree of robberies near the Downtown area.
Authorities said the male suspect is responsible for at least 16 robberies, mostly in west Houston and Montrose.
He is described as a black male, 5-feet-8 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing between 180 and 220 pounds and 30 to 40 years old. He may have a scar on his left cheek.

Media: Fox 26 HoustonPolice said the suspect was seen in a four-door gray vehicle at one of the Walgreens he robbed. He was also seen leaving a scene on a bike.
