Method Man & Redman showcase one of the greatest friendships in hip-hop.
The duo, featuring Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan and Redman from the Def Squad, have produced great work together (the “Blackout!” album) and some misfires (the “Method & Red” TV show) — with the cult stoner comedy “How High” falling in one of those categories.
But the best place to see them is still at a concert, and luckily for the Bay Area, they’re at the Warfield on Thursday, Dec. 21.
Method Man is the energetic center of Wu Tang, and Redman matches his pace. It’s evident they enjoy touring and performing together, so hopefully they’ll continue as a duo into retirement years.
