The Shadow Home Secretary chatted to volunteers involved with the Hackney Playbus, which offers activities for youngsters as well as access to services for mums and dads.

The project is funded through The Health Lottery.

Mrs Abbott said: “It provides messy, open-air play and brings families together.”
