SAMBA: Deputy Commissioner Sheetal Nanda on Wednesday convened a meeting to review the inspection of schools regarding implementation of Mid Day Meal , Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakarm, availability of drinking water facilities in Govt. schools falling under zone Ghagwal.
The meeting was held at Conference Hall of D C office Samba in which all the concerned officers holding key posts in PHE , PDD , RDD, Medical , Health and other Departments besides Additional District Development Commissioner Tilak Raj Sharma , Chief Education Officer Samba Ram Pal Bal , Zonal Education Officer Sushila Sharma were also present.
During the meeting ZEO Ghagwal Sushila Sharma highlighted various problems being faced by the schools of the zone, whereas all the incharge of the schools were also present in the meeting and all of them discussed various issues regarding sanitation, electrification, providing of drinking water , Mid Day Meal etc. Moreover the issue of Court case regarding the land of Govt. Girls Middle School Ghagwal was also discussed. Deputy Commissioner gave on spot directions to the Revenue Authorities for sorting out the issue.
