Those who signed Wednesday (this will continue to be updated):

DE Michael Matus

Part of a strong defensive front at Katy High in Texas, Matus is a 6-2, 235-pound defensive end. Both Rivals and Scout rank him as a three-star prospect. He was the Defensive MVP of the 2015 state title game. A strong student, Matus also gained a reputation for doing backflips on the field. “That’s what separates him from all the other big kids is he’s very athletic,” Katy coach Gary Joseph told The Katy Times. “He moves well. He doesn’t plod. He’s got good acceleration and a good burst while being strong enough to take on those big kids up front.”

LB Stanley Lambert

Some recruiting services list Lambert (6-3, 211) as an "athlete," but he'll most likely play defense in college, possibly rush linebacker.  Both Scout and Rivals consider Lambert a 3-star prospect. Lambert also played receiver in high school.

DB Dominque Harrison

Considered one of the country's top junior-college cornerbacks, Harrison signed with ASU despite a late push from West Virginia. Scout ranks Harrison  (6-0, 185) as the nation's No. 5 junior-college corner. Harrison was ASU's first 2018 commitment, pledging to the Sun Devils on May 16.

RB A.J. Carter

A three-star running back from Many, La., Carter reportedly signed with the Sun Devils over Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss. Previously, he has committed to LSU and UCLA.  According to The Shreveport Times, Carter (6-0, 220 pounds( this season rushed for 2,087 yards and 32 touchdowns despite missing four games with an injury.

RB Brock Sturges

The 3-star running back played at coach Todd Graham's old school, Allen High in Texas. He committed to ASU over the summer but stuck with the Sun Devils through the coaching change. Scout ranks Sturges (5-10, 200) as the nation's No. 46 running back. Rivals has him 43rd.

LB Christian LaValle

A 3-star linebacker from Mission Viejo, Calif., LaValle committed to ASU in June and stuck with the Sun Devils through the coaching change. He met with Edwards during a recent official visit and came away impressed. "Coach (Herm) Edwards is awesome --  if anyone says anything negative about him they probably have not met him,'' LaValle told Greg Biggins, national recruiting analyst for 247 Sports. LaValle (6-0, 215) plays with a high motor. Scout ranks him as the country's No. 42 inside linebacker. Rivals ranks him as the No. 72 prospect in California.

OL Ralph Frias

A 6-7, 320-pound lineman from Safford High, Frias was the first in-state 2018 product to sign with the Sun Devils. This season he was a first-team American Family Insurance ALL-USA Arizona High School selection. Both Rivals and Scout consider him a 3-star prospect. Scout lists him as the nation's No. 77 tackle.

RB Demetrious Flowers

Shortly after coach Todd Graham's dismissal, Flowers told azcentral sports that he would remain committed to ASU. He's a 5-11, 219-pound running back from St. John Bosco in Bellflower, Calif. Both Rivals and Scout consider him a 3-star prospect. Scout ranks Flowers as the nation's 56th running back. Rivals has him 45th.

LB Ely Doyle

Doyle (6-0, 190 pounds) was recruited to play ASU's spur linebacker position. He is a 3-star prospect from Bishop Alemany High in Mission Hills, Calif. Rivals ranks Doyle as the No. 87 prospect in recruiting-rich California. Scout ranks him at the country's 74th safety.

LB Reggie Hughes

Entering the early signing period, Hughes was ASU's  highest-rated commitment. Rivals gives him four stars, Scout gives him three. A 6-2, 208-pound linebacker from Calabasas, Calif., Hughes was recruited to play ASU's "Devil" position. Rivals ranks Hughes as the nation's 31st outside linebacker. Scout has him at 33.

Edwards is scheduled to talk to reporters about his first signing class Wednesday at 2 p.m. The early signing period runs through Friday.
