GAIBANDHA: Two children were electrocuted at Maheshpur village in Sadullapur upazila of Gaibandha on Tuesday (Dec 19).
The victims were identified as Md. Ali, 6, son of Sajjad Ali, and Shahriar Rahman, 7, son of Shariful Islam. Both of them are from Faridpur union.
Faridpur Union Parishad (UP) Member Mizanur Rahman told Banglanews that a torn electric wire fell on a tin-shed house; as a result the house was electrified.
At that time, the two kids touched the wall while playing, and died on the spot.
Police has been informed about this death, UP member said.
