Chandigarh: For the convenience of
train passengers and to clear extra rush during winter holidays, Northern Railway has decided to run two trains — 52443/52444 and 52445/52446 holiday special duplicate Shivalik Express trains — between Kalka and Shimla from December 22 to January 15, 2018.
The 52443 Kalka-Shimla holiday special duplicate Shivalik Express will depart from Kalka at 12.45pm from December 22 to January 15, 2018, to arrive in Shimla at 6.25 pm the same day. In the return journey, the 52444 Shimla-Kalka holiday special duplicate Shivalik Express will depart from Shimla at 9.25am from December 22 to January 15, 2018, to reach Kalka at 3.20pm the same day. The trains will be consisting of three general class, three chair cars and one luggage van coach, the 52443/52444 Kalka-Shimla-Kalka Holiday Special Duplicate Shivalik Express will stop at Barog station while going and returning.
The 52445 Kalka-Shimla Holiday Special Duplicate Shivalik Express will depart from Kalka at 7am from December 22 to January 15, 2018, to arrive in Shimla at 12.25pm the same day. In the return journey the 52446 Shimla-Kalka Holiday Special Duplicate Shivalik Express will depart from Shimla at 3.50pm from December 22 to January 15, 2018, to reach Kalka at 09.15pm the same day.
The trains will be consisting of six executive chair cars and one executive chair car-cum-luggage van coach. The 52445/52446 Kalka-Shimla-Kalka Holiday Special Duplicate Shivalik Express will also stop at Barog station.
