JAMMU: A deputation of JK Medical Employees Federation led by its President, Dharminder Singh Bhargav met Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat and discussed various issues confronting health employees.
The deputation demanded convening of Departmental Promotion Committee, merging of seniority lists of FMPHWs working under Account Head 2010 and 2011 with district level, upgrading of pay scale of FMPHW, making of transparent transfer policy, provision of risk allowance to all categories of employees, uniform for all Class-IV employees, creation of post of Lady Health Visitors (LHV’s), minimum wages of Part Time Sweepers at Rs 225 per day, etc.
The minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured for early redressal of their demands.
The deputation comprised of Ravinder Singh (Rozy), Randhir Singh, Jaswant Singh, Amarjeet Singh, Waryam Singh, Ajit Kumar and Parveen Kumar.
